I joined the Camp Jori family in 2011 as Program Director. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Keene State College, and a Masters Degree in Educational Technology from Eastern CT State University. I hold current certifications in Elementary Education, Technology Education K-12, Archery Instruction, and Low Ropes Course facilitation. I am a resident of Brooklyn, Connecticut, along with my wife, Dawn, my daughter, Hannah, and my sons Anthony and Jayson.
When it’s not summer, I teach technology classes for students fifth through eighth grade. I have also coached Cross Country, Basketball, and Softball teams at the middle school where I teach. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading fantasy books, and even playing the occasional video game. During the summer, as Program Director, I enjoy coming up with activities that are fun and memorable for campers, and even staff. I love not only to plan fun activities, but also participate in as many as possible. However, like many others, I continue to be drawn back to camp each summer because of the connections I make with campers and staff. Everyone knows how to take care of each other!
